Serving the Community:  Vibrant Lives' Board of Directors 2024

Vibrant Lives of Montana Board of Director Positions:
  • Founder: Individual who holds and embraces the vision and mission of Vibrant Lives (VL) while managing and overseeing the day to day operations of the organization. 
  • Collaborator: Individuals who embrace the vision and mission of VL and have experience in the healing power of their chosen modality. Collaborators/employees choose to participate in VLs collaborative efforts by creating and implementing programs (modalities/practices) under the umbrella of VL. Collaborators are capable of practicing alone but choose to merge with VL as they realize the power of collaboration; they are committed to their own growth, as a human being and as an entrepreneur.  Collaborations are established on an individual basis and are beneficial to all parties.  
  • Partner: Individuals who are aware of the healing power/therapeutic impact of a practice/modality and have the expertise to share.  Partners are often workshop facilitators, educators at VL and/or independent contractors of VL.
  • Participant: Individuals who participate in the practices/modalities/offerings of VL and have experienced, first hand, the benefits of a practice.
  • Volunteer: Individuals who participate and find value in VL’ offerings and as a result, wish to give back to the organization/community.
Responsibilities of Board of Directors:
  • Support the vision and mission of Vibrant Lives for a period of one or two years (our service year begins with the solar new year)
  • Participate in quarterly meetings: 2024 meetings are scheduled April 20, 2024, July 13, 2024, October 12, 2024, and February 8, 2025. Meetings generally take place at Vibrant Lives’ Wellness Studio and are 1.5 hours in length.  Lunch is typically included.   
  • Assist with food preparation for 1 quarterly BOD meeting; bring a dish or prepare a meal.
  • Assist with up to 3 community outreach/ambassador events within the year.  Melainya will work with you to identify how you can share the vision and mission of Vibrant Lives with our community. These may be formal or informal. Melainya will also join you in this endeavor, if such is desired.
  • Assist with and participate in hosting Vibrant Lives’  annual open-house/celebration. This event will allow us to showcase who we are and what we offer AND will serve as a means of celebrating our progress/the actualization and real-ization of our goals/wishes.
  • Participate in program/offering creation process. This can look like brainstorming ideas/identifying wishes,  identifying friends or family members who wish to facilitate, and/or facilitating offerings yourself. It will also include assisting with recruitment/participation in offerings.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of at least 1 fundraising event per year
  • Participate in at least 1 retreat or intensive planning and/or facilitation process.  
  • Participate in annual reflection and planning Vibrant Lives Board of Directors’ Day Retreat (scheduled for April 20, 2024)

Must be committed to your own personal growth
Must practice clear communication or be willing to learn.
Must be willing to practice presence when engaging with Vibrant Lives’ community
