Against the Grain Psychotherapy

Missoula based Vibrant Lives of Montana psychotherapy practice.

Valerie Coulter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering trauma informed counseling services both in person and via telehealth to Montana residents.

Valerie obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Montana in 2016. Since that time, she has worked in the field of domestic and sexual violence advocacy, community organizing, and non-profit management.

In 2021, Valerie returned to her old stomping grounds of Missoula to continue her work with trauma survivors. Valerie joined Vibrant Lives early in 2022 to expand these vital resources to her home community of Missoula.
If you are in the Missoula area, Valerie offers in person and telehealth appointments. For individuals and families throughout the state, Valerie offers telehealth appointments.

Valerie's clinical practice is focused on complex trauma, developmental trauma, PTSD, domestic and sexual violence, at-risk adolescence, and substance use recovery.
