Marina Zaleski has a knack for gently meeting new and experienced students exactly where they are through breath centered practices. Merging traditional practices, current techniques, and your interests, she keeps it relevant and real with her commitment and sweet humor. Meditation and Ayurvedic lifestyle practices and principles are inherently integrated in her approach.
People have been referred to Marina for decades for her caring and creative approach to adapting Yoga practices throughout all of life's phases and stages. She has experience working with people with persistent pain and chronic conditions, including auto immune diseases, brain and spinal cord injuries.
As a longtime Yoga practitioner, Marina was invited to teach in 2002. Dedicated to the study and practice of yoga, she has been an active student for 30+ years. While sustaining local mentorships for decades, she has studied and practiced with many senior teachers of the west; most in depth with Gary Kraftsow, Georg Feurstein, Judith Lasater, and Erich Schiffman. Her therapeutic yoga studies continue through the American Viniyoga Institute with Gary Kraftsow teachings as transmitted by T.K.V. Desikachar and his father, T. Krishnamacharya.
